1) How many hours of part time job can an international student do in Austrlia?

An international student can work for 20 hrs a week during the term, not including work that is formal registered part of the course. How ever you can work unlimited hours, if you have applied for permission to work after you start your masters or doctorate course

3) Can I apply for the part time courses?

No. International student needs to be a full time student

4) Any Scholarships available for international Students at Australian Universities?

There are some government funded scholarships are available at some institutions under certain faculties. Most of the Australian universities offer scholarships for international students only on merit basis.

5) What is PR? Who can apply for it?

Permanent Residency is called as PR. Once the student gets the PR he will be Australian Citizen in due course of time.  If a student completes the 2 Years masters’ course in Australia then they are eligible to apply for PR.  IT, Nursing, Teaching etc have good demand for PR.

6) How can I be eligible for the Permanent Residency (PR)?

Currently a student needs to cover up to 120 points to become eligible for the PR. The points can be obtained by a combination of the following course, age, English language proficiency, duration of the study in Australia , studying in a regional area, working part time. 7) How much salary can I earn once I start working in Australia?
